Kelsey Cote, 19

So since this is my first new friend, I decided to make it easy on myself and met a girl working in the dining hall where I ate dinner. There would be a picture of us post-interview but my lovely partner-in-crime forgot the camera. Thanks Mal! :P Don't worry, for your entertainment I added other pictures.

What I learned about her: We are both broadcast journalism majors in COM and also the same year in school. She is very religious, a type of person that I rarely meet. She spoke openly about private issues and patiently answered our many questions. (I'm debating whether or not to downsize the question list)

1. What's your favorite kind of music?

I like Jack Johnson and John Mayer. I basically like everything but country. I hate country.

2. What college are you in at BU and what's your major?

I'm in COM and a broadcast journalism major.

3. What is one piece of advice that you would give the world?

Get to know God. I go to a non denominational church so it's all about Jesus.

4. What is your favorite aspect of yourself?

I'm a people person.

5. What is one impacting event on your life?

My parent's divorce. It made me more independent. I had to figure out how to take care of myself.

6. How would you explain love to someone who doesn't know what it is?

Getting to know what people are about. You just have to show kindness. (And yes, she has been in love.)

7. Who is your idol/rolemodel/hero?

My mom. She is the strongest person ever and has always been there for me.

8. Where are three places that you have traveled or want to travel?
Been to: Mexico
Want to go to: Dublin mainly because of P.S. I Love You and Australia. It looks like fun and I would love to see a kangaroo.

9. What's your hometown like?

Lewiston, Maine. Second largest in Maine and a nice place to grow up.

10. What is your origin or culture?

French-Canadian.
