Max Stein-Golenbock, 20

Yayy back on track! No more awkward encounters for me. Max Stein-Golenbock was such a fun dude. Initially, I wasn't sure how this conversation was going to go. Okay so everyone has met this type of person: you know, the one where when you initially see them and they seem quiet/lowkey but then BAM a burst of colorful personality. Well that's Max for you. His best feature is his sense of humor. It's witty and quick - not vulgar or overly sarcastic. I definitely spent a good majority of our conversation laughing, always a friendship plus.

(Celebrating the success of my encounter)

Okay so before I continue, this is a direct request to Max. My dear friend, if you have it in you, can you send me a picture of yourself? It can be an on-the-spot self portrait or a picture you have always admired. I completely blanked on asking you and it makes my blog so much cooler. :P

Now I bet you all are wondering about this kid since I have talked him up so much. WELL. Max is a junior at MIT. He's quite opinionated from the short conversation we shared and he has some interesting views on his school. (i.e. He thinks a majority of MIT students either become consultants or business majors) My main concern with that statement: Aren't they known for their engineers?

Also he plays soccer for his school. Which means, when you go to MIT soccer games, make sure you cheer for Max. After college, Max is going to be a really successful environmental (engineering?) professional.  I think he said he was going down the consulting path. But he's also going to be an on-the-side writer since it's his passion. Poor kid has a hard life, he had to choose between MIT and Harvard for college. He lives in Brookline, very close to MIT but made a good point when I questioned him about living so close to school. I told him that I wanted to go to the east coast for college, and he merely pointed out that he did too. He just happened to already live there. (Example of his wittiness.)

Well Max, hopefully stair duty was fun. I liked your friend too although I forgot her name. :/ Hopefully I will prove to you that ZBT is not that nerdy, since you seem to think otherwise. See you around!
