Emily Kammerer, 17

No offense Emily, but our friendship started off rocky. Mallory and I were were in ESSAY MODE when you started talking to your mom. But now we are friends so it's all good. I think this is my favorite friendship so far because it was very unexpected! It's always best when you least expect meet someone awesome. In our case, Justin Bieber was our friendship glue. Or at least it was his face on your folder that sparked my interest.

Oh the life of a freshman. This poor girl deals with the one issue that every college student dreads: roommate problems. We've all heard the horror stories and hers isn't any better. Currently, her biggest roommate issue is the temperature in their room. I think most people will agree, keeping your room at 80 degrees does not make for a hospitable sleeping environment but Emily deals with this every night in order to keep her inflexible roommate happy.

Other than that, she has been immersing herself in BU life and living a great college experience. She's on the synchronized swimming team, which must have been quite a leap for someone who never swam before and she's very involved in the School of Education. Her favorite grades to deal with are fourth and fifth graders (if you forgot what children are like, those are definitely the most spoiled grades). But her theory is that she needs to "earn their love." This girl knows how to set goals and achieve them! Trying a sport that's completely alien to her, working with the children that give teachers the hardest time. Props Emily. You make me want to work harder!
