Musings

Since this is my first blog and definitely a work in progress, I wanted to reflect on meeting my first new friend. Interviewing Kelsey in that style was not natural. I felt like I could have gotten cooler information from her if I had just had a regular conversation with her. Also, the Q & A style feels like some sort of survey. Not very personal. So my new friend tomorrow will not get 10 questions thrown at them. I want to learn about these people but I guess the best way to do that is to converse. Not interview. And since I like pictures, here's a fun one. Enjoy!

P.S. Kelsey - It was still super fun to meet you. I suppose at some point we will have a class together. So see you around!

  1. I told you! friendship needs to be more organic...spontaneous, and when the time is right. like walking to class, going to dinner, in a class. thats friendship...don't let yourself get too "reportery" about this. Interpersonal relations is a social science =]

    xoxoxoxoxo love you friend <3

  2. haha I had fun with this! The questions definitely made me think, and I think it would have been a bit easier for me if I wasn't working at the same time. So, maybe for your next new friends you should find someone who would have time to stop whatever it is they might be doing to put their full attention on you, and maybe even get to know you a little better in the process as well. We did find out we had some things in common though- which I think is something needed in a friendship! :) It was nice meeting you, and I hope we have a class together at some point! Good luck with the blog:) Nice JM picture, too<3
